Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026 · Abuse reports: abuse@aiproxies.dev
This policy is part of the terms of service. It exists because residential and mobile proxies draw from real consumer networks — misuse harms the people who share those networks and gets entire pools blocked for everyone.
Allowed
- Collecting publicly available web data at a reasonable rate.
- Price, inventory and availability monitoring across regions.
- Ad verification, affiliate checks and SERP monitoring.
- QA testing of your own applications from multiple geographies.
- Security research on assets you own or are authorised to test, in writing.
- Accessing your own accounts from automation, within the provider's terms.
Prohibited
- Credential stuffing, password spraying, or any authentication bypass.
- Payment card fraud, gift card abuse, or transaction laundering.
- Accessing accounts or systems you do not own or have written authorisation to test.
- Distributing malware, phishing, or command-and-control traffic.
- Ticket scalping, sneaker bots, or evading purchase limits.
- Click fraud, ad fraud, or manipulating affiliate attribution.
- Harassing individuals, circumventing safety tools, or any traffic involving minors.
- Excessive request rates that degrade a target — including deliberate denial-of-service patterns.
- Reselling or sub-allocating the service without a reseller agreement.
- Export or sanctions violations, including use from embargoed regions.
Rate expectations
Stay within a target's published terms and a human-plausible request rate. A useful default for agent traffic is no more than one request per second per host per session, with exponential backoff on 429 or 5xx. Our gateway will return blocked rather than hammering a target after a rejection.
Enforcement
- First report: we ask for an explanation and may require remediation within 48 hours.
- Confirmed violation: immediate suspension, usually without refund, and revocation of all keys on the account.
- Severe violations (fraud, unauthorised access, illegal content): immediate termination and referral to law enforcement where required.
We aim to acknowledge abuse reports within one business day and to act within two. Requests from rights holders and law enforcement are handled under our legal process policy; valid requests are logged.
Reporting abuse
Email abuse@aiproxies.dev with the timestamp (UTC), target URL, and any source IP or request identifiers. If you can, include the X-AIP-Request-Id header from your logs — it lets us trace a request without storing content.
