Privacy Policy

Template notice. This policy describes how the software in this repository behaves out of the box. Review it against your actual deployment, subprocessors and jurisdiction before launch.
What we collect
- Account data — email address, plan, use case selection, account id, creation date.
- Credentials — API keys stored only as SHA-256 hashes; proxy passwords stored encrypted so the dashboard can display them.
- Connection metadata — for each proxied request: key, timestamp, exit IP, target hostname, bytes transferred, HTTP status. Retained 24 hours, then deleted.
- Billing data — plan and metered usage. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never touch our servers.
What we do not collect
We do not store request or response bodies, request headers, cookies, or the content of pages your agents fetch. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer traffic for advertising or model training.
Why we process it
- To operate the service and authenticate requests.
- To meter usage and bill correctly.
- To detect abuse and respond to valid legal requests.
- To send service notices; product marketing only with consent.
Subprocessors
Hosting and delivery (Amazon Web Services), transactional email, payment processing, and error monitoring. A current list is available on request. Enterprise customers can be notified before a new subprocessor is added.
Retention
Connection metadata: 24 hours. Account data: for the life of the account plus 30 days, then deleted. Billing records: as long as tax law requires. Backups: 35 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of your personal data, and object to processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You can delete your account from the dashboard or by contacting support.
Security
Traffic to the dashboard and control API is encrypted in transit. Credentials are hashed or encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited, logged and reviewed. No system is perfectly secure; report a suspected incident to abuse@aiproxies.dev and we will respond within one business day.
Cookies and analytics
The marketing site sets no cookies by default and loads no third-party scripts unless analytics keys are configured in config.js. The dashboard stores your API key in this browser's local storage so you stay signed in; signing out removes it.
Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
